In 2017 Jola and Joyin were challenged to compose forty poems each, within six weeks by their Poet Dad, Dele Akinrin. They eventually wrote sixty poems between them and this marked the birth of the book, Welcome To The Poetree (WTTP) WTTP is however much more than a book of written poems. For various reasons, it has taken seven years for series 1 of WTTP to reach our esteemed audience. However, from the onset, we strongly desired that WTTP should be more than a one-hit-wonder poetry book.
