I have two countries of origin
Surely that can’t be a sin
But some people think it’s a teeny bit weird
And on occasion, some of them have sneered
Half of me is from Britain for that’s where I was born
The other part is Nigerian where my parents are from
One day I eat chips and the next ewa and dodo
Trying to keep up can make you feel like a yoyo
Some days I wear a tie and on others my agbada
To get the balance right at times can cause wahala
Its things fall apart today and Shakespeare tomorrow
